The questions we get asked
A question that's not here? Write to us, we reply Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
Not necessarily. If there is already a cable outlet where you want it, the connection is made to the terminal block, with the power off at the fuse box, following the illustrated instructions supplied. If there is no power supply at that spot, creating the cable outlet is a job for an electrician.
Is there a bulb to buy?
No. The LED is built into the light: nothing to buy with your order, nothing to replace later. Voltage 90-260 V. Please note: this wall light is not compatible with a dimmer.
How do I care for the stone?
A soft, dry cloth is all you need, with the light switched off and cool. Avoid water, abrasive products and household detergents, which mark porous stone.
Will it look exactly like the photos?
The shape and dimensions, yes. The veining, no, and that’s intentional. Each disc is cut from a different block: the veins and the way the light passes through them change from one piece to the next. It’s the signature of natural stone, not a defect.
What are the delivery times?
Free tracked delivery to the UK, no minimum order. Dispatched within 24 to 48 working hours, then 6 to 8 working days in transit, so 7 to 10 working days in total.
And if I don’t like it once it’s up?
You have 90 days from delivery to send it back to us: the 14-day right to cancel is extended to 90 days at Maison Alméa. Return costs are covered by us.
