Black or gold metal: which to choose?
Black is graphic and goes anywhere, especially in a modern or industrial interior. Gold adds a warm, elegant touch.
How do I care for a metal light?
A dry microfibre cloth is all you need. No abrasive sponges or harsh products, which scratch the finish.
What kind of light does a metal light give?
A metal shade directs the light: perfect for reading, a desk or above a table.
At what height should I fix a wall light?
In a living room or hallway, between 1.60 and 1.80 m from the floor: the light passes above eye level without dazzling. Above a bed, allow about 30 to 40 cm above the mattress.
Do I need an electrician to fit a wall light?
If there’s already a cable outlet on the wall, wiring it is simple: switch off the power at the fuse box, connect the wires to the terminal, then fix the wall light. If in any doubt, call an electrician.
Which bulb should I choose?
For a living space, warm white (2,700 K). The fitting to use (E27, E14, G9…) is listed on each product page.

Delivery is free across the UK, with no minimum order. You have 90 days to change your mind, and return costs are on us.

Why choose a metal wall light

Metal draws a clean line on the wall. In black, it structures an industrial or contemporary interior. In a gold or copper finish, it adds warmth and shine. Most metal wall lights have an integrated LED, which allows slim, modern shapes.

Black wall light: what to pair it with

Choosing the right light
